I am sooo scared for high school!!!!! im scared ill get lost; made fun of; being alone at lunch, bus, or class. Im sure ill love it later after a couple of weeks, maybe months...Im scared that i will fail a class. Im scared that class will be geomoarty.

ReplyDeletei know teachers always say be yourself blah blah blah.. i "usually" never followed that rule. but when i did, it worked amazingly great
but thats not the point....uhh... you have great potential and i respect that but just remember to respect yourself and always stand up for yourself
anyway... i will get lost 3 weeks after school starts
you know me iam out of it so much my head spins
but i have overcome my fear of bullying i have been going to counseling for a little while and i am going to be changed..... big time

I'm actually pretty terrified because there is sooooo much to worry about. I have to be scared of getting lost, getting bad grades, getting into pointless drama, really mean girls, the bus, oh and especially lunch. I know a good amount of people that go to Seneca and that could be good or really really bad for me. The only thing i'm looking forward to is the food because i heard it's really good hahah. As of now my plans for high school are to just making it through the day without worrying so much.

High School to me is like being a baby fish in a lake then getting hoooked in mouth by a random man and being thrown into the ocean, large and scary, and full of random dangers. I'm scared that thing that make me me ( like singing, wearing funny shirts and just being trent knight ) will get me beaten up and jazz. I'm also afraid i'll lose close freinds and do thing I won't be proud of in later life. I'm also afraid that i can't use the excuse " ohh it's just middle school, who cares if I fail" Because in highschool it does count.

Honestly, I'm scaired to death. I'm afraid I'm gonna lose all my friends. I'm not looking forward to all the the drama from the other girls, or the pressure to do stuff. I'm afraid I'm gonna be like Lindsey Lohan in Mean Girls where she has no one to sit with at lunch so she eats in the bathroom stall. I feel like everyone will look at me as if I was under a microscope, and that they'll always have something to say about me. I don't wanna have to deal with all the stupid rumors and drama. On the other hand, my brother said that highschool isn't as bad as all the movies and tv shows make it out to be... but he's a guy and he doesn't have to worry about all the other guys talking about his outfit or what his hair looks like as much as girls do. But either way, he'll be a senior so he said that he'll watch out for me and help me with everything else about highschool.
ReplyDeleteBut other than that, I'm trying out for volleyball :) tryouts are later on this month and I have my neighbor, who's like hardcore volleyballer, helping me out with all of that.

ReplyDeleteI’ve been worrying too much for the longest time; so I give up. I’m going into high school without any expectations and a good attitude. I have some really great friends and I’ve met some more people over the summer that I’ll be seeing next year, so I think I’m all set. I have Andrew with me in case anything happens and I know he’ll always stand behind me if I need him. I want to learn more and be happy. I’m excited for high school parties and dances and all that junk. I’m excited to start living my life to the fullest and experiencing “the best years of my life”. This is a fresh start for me, and I couldn’t be any more thrilled. I’m pretty sure I can handle this crazy high school stuff (knock on wood).

I am so nervous for high school. I think that I am going to do fine, but I think its the fact that after just 4 short year I am on my own! I think that I will be able to adjust fine after a dew days but I don't know what I will do after those few years!

ReplyDeleteDon't be afraid of High School. The experience will do you good. High School is just the beginning of great things for all of you. I cannot wait to see where you guys/gals are in 10 years. You are all beautiful people and my life is better just having the chance to know each of you. You'll never be alone because I'll be watching over Seneca to make sure you are taking care of yourselves.
I'm so depressed were already going to high school. School has been going by to fast. I dislike growing up. High school is going to be awkward for me. I don't really know to many older classmen. I'm afraid of the exams and getting picked on. But every freshman class has the same worries every year so ill just have to live through it. I am excited to meet some new people and have some amazing high school memories. I am definately coming back to visit during the year! I miss our class. I hope everyone's enjoying their summer. I'm not excited at all. I was just talking to Gerhard the other day about how much we miss middle school, well 8th grade. I never thought those words would ever come out of my mouth but now that reality has hit and high school is just weeks away I'm scared beyond belief. I'm not scared about the academic part, I'm scared about the social part. I'm terrified of all the stupid so called "populars" who are going to pick on the rest of us and start crap about us. I never used to be scared of them and I knew how to stick up for myself and others but now it's going to be like an army of "populars" since the tabernacle Indian mills and Southampton "cool" kids are all gonna be combined so I'm not so sure I can continue to defend myself and other people.

Hey guys! I'm kinda scared for high school. The most thing I'm scared of is getting lost, but otherwise i'm actually excitied for high school. My brother a senior but he says he going to ditch me and send his friends out to eat me which freaks me out but I know we won't do that but if he does I just have to beat him up at home, haha. As I read your blogs I comment to my kids (not to worry I don't mention names) about your fears. Both my girls said if they made it anyone can! Remember everyone is in the same boat, and there is strength in numbers! You 44 are far better equipped to handle high school than the average freshman because you know the "game." Seek each other out. I too have eyes and ears at Seneca; feel free to call, email, or text me. We are never that far away and always here for you. I can't believe how much I miss all of you. Thanks to those well wishers; my surgery went well and I am feeling better each day. Baby G has given me a daily dose of smiles to brighten my days! Remember the little engine that could...think you can and you will.
